Pinched Nerves

Are you having pain shooting down your arm or leg?

How about numbness or tingling?

Feeling general spinal pain?

One of the most common causes of low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, arm and leg pain and sciatica, is a pinched nerve. The symptoms of a pinched nerve may be a shooting pain down your leg or arm, numbness or a tingly sensation, or even just a dull ache.

Pinched nerves are one of the most common reasons people visit a chiropractor, and for good reason! For instance, if there is a pressure or irritation to your sciatic nerve, you may well experience the pain of a pinched sciatic nerve. This pain may travel down your leg all the way to the ankle. If a nerve that goes down your arm is irritated, you may have numbness weakness or pain.

A chiropractor relieves nerve irritation through gentle spinal manipulation (and possibly) corrective exercises and deep muscle/trigger point work and allows the nerve to resume its normal function without being constantly pinched and irritated.

Even if you have suffered from a pinched nerve for years, chiropractic spinal adjustments are one of the best ways to remove nerve pressure. I have been in chiropractic practice for almost 30 years and have treated thousands of patients with nerve pain.

You can take all the pills in the world, but unless you remove the nerve pressure – and chiropractic adjustments are one of the best (and fastest) ways to do it – you are still going to have a problem.
